Welcome to the Poultry Project! Feathers, fun, and a whole lot of learning! In the Poultry Project, members explore all aspects of raising birds—whether it’s backyard pets, show-quality breeds, market broilers, turkeys, or even eggs for competition.

Youth gain hands-on experience in feeding, housing, breed identification, health care, biosecurity, and egg handling. They also develop showmanship skills and learn how to present both birds and eggs in the show ring.

Whether you’re hatching chicks, building coops, or preparing for fair, this project offers a wide variety of opportunities for all levels of interest.
